Born Sarah Margaret on 15th October 1949 at London Welbeck Hospital in London to Major Ronald and Susan Ferguson.
She married His Royal Highness Prince Andrew of The United Kingdom on 23rd July 1986 at Westminster Abbey. His Royal Highness had been created Duke of York, Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh and upon their marriage she became Her Royal Highness The Duchess of York, Countess of Inverness and Baroness Killyleagh.
The couple have two children Her royal Highness Princess Beatrice, Mrs Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie, Mrs jack Brooksbank.
The couple divorced on 30th May 1996. After the divorce she was styled as a dicorced wife of a peer as Sarah, Duchess of York and in a accordance with letter patent in August 1996 she ceased to be styled a Royal Highness.
The reply is in the form a card which on the front has a picture of Sarah, Duchess of York with two corgis which previously belonged to Her Majesty Elizabeth II, The Queen and on the reverse is a printed message and the printed signature of Sarah.
