Response from The Right Honourable Mariette, The Dowager Baroness of Saye and Sele on the passin gof her husband The Right Honourable Nathaniel Fiennes, The 21st/15th Baron of Saye and Sele (The two different number are due to disputes about if the 1447 title carries through or if it was recreated in 1603).
Born Nathaniel Thomas Allen on 22nd September 1920 to Ivo and Hersey Fiennes. Ivo succeeded his father as the 14th Baron on 18th February 1949.
He married Mariette on 4th December 1958 andn they had 5 children;
Hon. Richard Ingel Fiennes born 19th August 1959 – 13th April 2001
Martin Guy Fiennes, 22nd/16th Baron Saye and Sele(born 27th February 1961
Hon. Susannah Hersey Fiennes born 27th February 1961
Hon. Thomas Nathaniel Fiennes born 11th October 1965 − 3rd September 1968
Hon. William John Fiennes born 7th August 1970
He sadly passed away on 20th January 2024.
The Barony of Saye and Sele created 1447 in The Peerage of England by Henry VI, created 1603 in The Peerage of England by James I.
