She became engaged to His Royal Highness Prince Edward, The Duke of Kent on 8th March 1961.
She married His Royal Highness Prince Edward, The Duke of Kent on 8th June 1961 at York Minster by Eric Milner-White, Dean of York with Michael Ramsey, Archbishop of Canterbury former Archbishop of York.
The couple had 4 children;
- George, Earl of St Andrews born 26th June 1962 and married Sylvana on 9th January 1988 and have 3 children; Edward, Lord Downpatrick, Lady Marina Windsor and Lady Amelia Windsor.
- Lady Helen born 28th April 1964 and married Timothy Taylor 18th July 1992 and they have 4 children; Columbus, Cassius, Eloise and Estella Taylor.
- Lord Nicholas born 25th July 1970 and married Paola 4th November 2006 and have 3 children; Albert, Leopold and Louis Windsor.
- Lord Patrick born and sadly passed away 5th October 1977.
Her Royal Highness sadly passed away on 4th September 2025.
The Dukedom of Kent was created on 12th October 1934 in The peerage of The United Kingdom by King George V for Prince George the fourth son of Their Majesties King George V and Queen Mary of The United Kingdom. The subsidiary titles are Earl of St Andrews 12th October 1934 in The peerage of The United Kingdom by George V and Baron Downpatrick 12th October 1934 in The peerage of The United Kingdom by George V.
