He ascended to the title on the passing of his father on 1st February 2025.

The subsidiary titles are The Viscount Hinchingbrooke created in The Peerage of England in 1660 by Charles II and The Baron Montagu of St Neots, of St Neots in the County of Huntingdon created in The Peerage of England in 1660 by Charles II.
