Princess Margriet is the daughter of Princess Juliana (Queen of the Netherlands, 1948-1980) and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands.
Princess Margriet engagement to Peter van Vollenhoven Jr. was announced on 10th March 1965.
The couple married on 10th January 1967 at St James Church, The Hague.
