Rose Cholmondeley, The Marchioness of Cholmondeley’s 37th Birthday

Born Sarah Rose on 15th March 1984 to Timothy and Emma Hanbury. Her maternal grandmother Lady Elizabeth Lambart was a bridesmaid at the Wedding of the then Princess Elizabeth of The United Kingdom and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

She married The Most Honourable David Cholmondeley, The 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley on 24th June 2009.

The Marquessate of Cholmondeley was created in The Peerage of The United Kingdom 1815 for George Cholmondeley, The 4th Earl of Cholmondeley by The Prince Regent (Later George IV) acting on behalf of his Father King George III. The subsidiary titles of the Marquessate are; The Earldom of Cholmondeley, County Chester (10th) created in The Peerage of England in 1706 by Queen Anne, The Earldom of Rocksavage (7th)(Title used by Heir Apparent) created in The Peerage of The United Kingdom in 1815 by The Prince Regent (Later George IV) acting on behalf of his Father King George III, Viscountcy Cholmondeley of Kells, County Meath (11th) in the Peerage of Ireland in 1661 by King Charles II, The Viscountcy Malpas, County Chester created in the Peerage of England in 1706 by Queen Anne, The Barony Cholmondeley of Witch Malbank, alias Nantwich, County Chester created in The Peerage of England in 1689 by King William III and Queen Mary II The Barony Newborough of Newborough, County Wexford (9th) created in The Peerage of Ireland in 1715 by King George I, The Barony Newburgh, in the Isle of Anglesey (9th) created in The Peerage of Greta Britain in 1716 by King George I.

The Family Seat is Houghton Hall.

The reply is in the form of a postcard which has a picture of Houghton Hall by Derek Hill and on the reverse is a hand written note and signed by Lady Cholmondeley.
