Response from The Right Honourable John and Caroline Montagu, The 11th Earl and Countess of Sandwich on the occasion of their 43rd wedding anniversary.
The Earldom of Sandwich created for Sir Edward Montagu 12th July 1660 in The Peerage of England by Charles II. The subsidiary titles are The Viscount Hinchingbrooke created in The Peerage of England in 1660 by Charles II and The Baron Montagu of St Neots, of St Neots in the County of Huntingdon created in The Peerage of England in 1660 by Charles II.
The couple married on 1st July 1968.
The reply is in the form a letter thanking me for my wishes on their wedding anniversary and is signed by Lord Sandwich. As can be seen the letter was damaged in transit and is missing a piece on the bottom.
