Born Amedeo Umberto Costantino Giorgio Paolo Elena Maria Fiorenzo Zvonimir on 27th September 1943 in Villa della Cisterna in Florence, Italy to Their Royal Highnesses Prince Aimone and Princess Irene di Savoia, The 4th Duke and Duchess of Aosta.
His Royal Highness married firstly Her Royal Highness Princess Claude of Orléans by whom he had issue Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta, Prince Aimone, The 6th Duke of Aosta and Princess Mafalda of Savoy-Aosta. He married secondly Silvia Paternò di Spedalotto. His Royal Highness has a fourth child Ginevra Maria Gabriella van Ellinkhuizen born out of wedlock so thus does not have title or a member of The Royal House.
His Royal Highness passed away on 1st June 2021.
