James Spencer-Churchill, The 12th Duke of Marlborough’s 66th Birthday

Response from His Grace The 12th Duke of Marlborough on the occasion of 66th birthday.

Born Charles James on 24th November 1955 to The Honourable John and Susan, Marquess and Marchioness Blandford.

The Dukedom of Marlborough was created in 1703 by Queen Anne for John Churchill, The 1st Earl of Marlborough. The subsidiary titles are The Marquess of Blandford created in The Peerage of England in 1702 by Anne, The Earl of Sunderland in The Peerage of England in 1643 by Charles I, The Earl of Marlborough created in The Peerage of England in 1689 by William III and Mary II, The Baron Spencer of Wormleighton created in The Peerage of England in 1603 by James I and The Baron Churchill of Sandridge in The County of Hertford created in The Peerage of England in 1685 by James II.

The Family Seat is Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
