Born Carl Maria Peter Ferdinand Philipp Albrecht Joseph Michael Pius Konrad Robert Ulrich on 1st August 1936 to Their Royal Highnesses Philipp Albrecht and Rosa, The Duke and Duchess of Württemberg.
He married Her Royal Highness Princess Diane D’Orléans (daughter of Their Royal Highnesses Henri and Isabelle, The Count and Countess of Paris) on 21st July 1960.
The couple has 4 sons and 2 daughters;
- Duke Friedrich (1st June 1961-9th May 2018)
- Duchess Mathilde (11th July 1962)
- Duke Eberhard (20th June 1963)
- Duke Philipp (1st November 1964)
- Duke Michael (1st December 1965)
- Duchess Eleonore (4th November 1977)
His Royal Highness passed away on 7th June 2022.
He is succeeded by his grandson Wilhelm as The Duke of Württemberg.
