Victoria, The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel of Sweden, The Duchess and Duke of Västergötland Wedding

Royal response from Their Royal Highnesses The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel of Sweden, The Duchess and Duke of Västergötland on the occasion of their wedding.

Born Victoria Ingrid Alice Désirée on 14th July 1977 in at the Karolinska Hospital in Solna, Stockholm County, Sweden to Their Majesties Carl XVI Gustaf and Silvia, The King and Queen of Sweden.

Although born in 1977 Her Royal Highness only became The Crown Princess of Sweden and Heiress Apparent on 1st January1980 and became first in line over her younger brother upon the change of the Swedish succession laws which changed from male preference primogeniture to absolute primogeniture (The first for a Royal House in Europe). His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden was Crown Prince of Sweden from his birth on 13th May 1979 to 31st December 1979.

Born Olof Daniel on 15th September 1973 at Örebro Hospital, Örebro, Sweden to Olle and Ewa Westling.

The couple became officially engaged on 24th February 2009.

The wedding took place on 19th June 2010 in Stockholm Cathedral by Anders Wejryd, Archbishop of Uppsala and he was assisted by was assisted by Lars-Göran Lönnermark, Royal Court Chief Chaplain, and Dr Antje Jackelén, Bishop of Lund.

The reply is in the form of a card which on the front has Their Royal Highnesses Joint Cypher, inside is a message in English and the printed signatures of Their Royal Highnesses and opposite is a picture of the couple on their wedding day.
