Charles Spencer, The 9th Earl Spencer Letter

Response from The Right Honourable The 9th Earl of Spencer in response to a letter I wrote about his recent book release The White Ship.

Charles Spencer, The 9th Earl Spencer is the son of The 8th Earl and Countess of Spencer. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is his Godmother. He is a younger brother of Diana, Princess of Wales and is the maternal uncle of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex.

The Earldom Spencer of Althorp created for John Spencer, The 1st Viscount Spencer on 1st November 1765 in The Peerage of Great Britain by George III. The subsidiary titles are Viscount Spencer, of Althorp in the County of Northampton created in The Peerage of Great Britain in 1761 by George III, The Viscount Althorp of Althorp in the County of Northampton created in The Peerage of Great Britain in 1765 by George III and The Baron Spencer of Althorp, of Althorp in the County of Northampton in The Peerage of Great Britain in 1761 by George III.

The reply is in the form of a letter which on the top features The Coat of Arms of The Earl Spencer and underneath is Althorp, the name od the ancestral seat of The Earls Spencer. The letter thanks me for my letter that I sent and is signed by Sarah Summers, Executive Assistant to Earl Spencer.
