Response from Lady Angela Oswald on the passing of her husband Sir Michael Oswald GCVO.

Born William Richard Michael Oswald on 21st April 1934 to Lieutenant-Colonel William and Rose-Marie Oswald. He married Lady Angela Cecil (Woman of The Bedchamber to Her Majesty The Queen Mother and youngest daughter of David and Mary Cecil The 6th Marquess and Marchioness of Exeter) on 21st April 1958. They have two children William Oswald and Katherine, Lady Matheson wife of Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Alexander Matheson, The 8th Baronet Matheson.

Sir Michael Oswald was Racing Manager to Her Majesty The Queen Mother and National Hunt Racing advisor to Her Majesty The Queen.

Sir Michael Oswald sadly passed away on 17th April 2021.

The reply is in the form of a card which on the front has a picture of Sir Michael Oswald and on the reserve is a handwritten message from Lady Angela Oswald.
