Born Luisa Maria Anna Martine Pilar on 11th October 1995 at the Saint-Luc University Hospital in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium to Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Archduke Lorenz of Austria-Este and Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este.

She was baptized at Laeken Castle. Her godfather is His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke Martin of Austria-Este and her godmother is Pilar Escriva de Romani.
