Birth of Lady Louise Windsor

Royal response from Their Royal Highness The Earl and Countess of Wessex on the birth of their daughter Lady Louise Windsor.

Born Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary on 8th November 2003 at Frimley Park Hospital in Frimley, Surrey to Their Royal Highnesses Prince Edward and Sophie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex.

Letters Patent issued in 1917 by George V state that grandchildren in the male line of the Monarch (child of a son of a the Monarch) are entitled to The Title of Royal Highness and Prince/Princess of The United Kingdom which would mean Lady Louise is entitled to be called Her Royal Highness Prince Louise of Wessex but it was announced through Buckingham Palace at the time of their marriage that their future children would be afforded the style of children of an Earl hence why she is known as Lady Louise Windsor.

The reply is in the form of a letter.
