He was christened on 4th August 1982 by Robert Runcie, The Archbishop of Canterbury in the Music Room of Buckingham Palace, London. His godparents are His Majesty Constantine II, The King of Greece; Norton Knatchbull, 3rd Earl Mountbatten of Burma; Sir Laurens van der Post; Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy; Lady Susan Hussey, Baroness Hussey of North Bradley and The Duchess of Westminster.

Engagement

His Royal Highness became engaged to Miss Catherine Middleton in October 2010 and it was announced on 16th November 2010.

Wedding

His Royal Highness married Miss Catherine Middleton on 29th April 2011 in Westminster Cathedral, London. The Dean of Westminster, John Hall, officiated for most of the service, with Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, as celebrant of the marriage and Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London, preaching the sermon.
